Ashley Johnson

Director – Construction

Ashley is responsible for our sales, quality control and day-to-day operations across all projects.

Ash has worked for QRC for over 14 years and has held positions as Site Manager and Project Manager, making him client-focussed, and solutions oriented. Prior to QRC, he worked on iconic projects such as the Clem Jones Tunnel and the Gateway Bridge for Leighton Contractors and has trade qualifications as a concreter and formworker.

At QRC Ash leads on sales through to the delivery phase and the final handover of each project. He ensures our quality is maintained by challenging staff to focus on how to constantly improve procedures. He is responsible for ensuring our teams onsite have the best plant, equipment and materials to deliver our service. As senior client liaison, he is committed to open and transparent lines of reporting.

Ashley is highly qualified, holding a Cert III in Concreting, a Cert IV in Civil Supervision, a Diploma in Project Management, an Advanced Diploma in Building and Construction and a Graduate Certificate in Executive Leadership.

Jack Jones

Director – Commercial

Jack Jones has worked for QRC for over 13 years in a number of roles from Junior Site Engineer to Estimator. He is a valuable member of the team bringing an understanding of on-site project experience as well as University qualifications in urban design and development. Jack also has a strong knowledge of the commercial side of our business from inception to completion. As our Commercial Manager, Jack oversees our Contracts Administration, Resource Management and is in charge of business growth.

Tony McCosh

Estimator

As our Estimator, Tony is responsible for reviewing all tenders from builders and providing measures, quotes and pricing. He liaises with clients and internally takes a ‘job’ from being awarded to handover with the site crew. Tony has been with QRC for 22 years and is a former Formworker and Concreter. He has worked in various roles for QRC including Site Manager, Construction Manager and Contracts Administrator – all of which have been of valuable insight to his current role. With his trade background, Tony brings an in-depth knowledge of the skills and experience required for each project.

Peter Pembroke

Contracts Administrator

Peter is responsible for Contracts Administration at QRC. Hailing from a Finance background, Peter works with our Estimator to manage our client contracts from estimation, to procurement to resourcing and submitting progress claims. Clients deal with Peter at any stage of a project as he is responsible for submitting variations on projects. He also manages our company invoicing and monthly P&L. Peter has worked for QRC for 20 years and has a background in Commercial Finance.

Nathan Moore

HSE Manager

Nathan has taken up the Health, Safety and Environmental Manager (HSE) position at QRC since mid-2022.

He comes from a successful background with the Australian Defence Force as well as Positions within Queensland Emergency Services and Queensland Health.

After adjusting to injury with his past Employment, Nathan quickly found that the role of Health Safety and Environment Officer was where he found his passion. Not only did it complement his current skills, but he also had the knowledge and understanding of being an injured worker.

Nathan has numerous and varying Qualifications within the HSE Sector including:

  • Diploma of Work Health & Safety
  • Diploma of Public Safety (Emergency Management)
  • Diploma of Leadership and Management
  • Diploma of Justice
  • Cert IV in Work Health and Safety
  • Cert IV in Investigations (Government)
  • Cert IV in Risk Management
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator
  • ICAM Investigation Course

Nathan remains a Member of Australian Institute of Health and Safety (AIHS) and a Member of Australian Institute of Emergency Services (AIES).
